Current Version: 0.7

Hello everyone, since SMAC is still getting lack of updates I thought I would post a custom module to help fix Taunt and other related issues that cause false positives.

Currently this plugin fixes:
  • Players invisible while taunting (cause by Wallhack Blocker)
  • Players getting banned for invalid eye angles while taunting.
  • (Experimental) TF2 Karts false postives.
Many thanks to SystematicMania for the original eye angles fixes.
If you want to compile this yourself you will need the SMAC Includes which I can't provide you with & version 1.6.3 of sourcemod, therefore I have attached a pre-compiled version as well as the source.

Players who useses holiday punch gets banned. Can this be avoided?

Should be fixed now, It now checks how many kills a player gets during one taunt.
Can be controlled with cvar: smac_tauntkill_max "3"

equalizer taunt, rock paper scissors and Holiday Punch. all get you banned. And equalizer taunt can kill a lot so kinda strange fix

You will want atleast 0.3 anyway.

I had to set smac_tauntkill_max 99999999. I was using this on my Idle/Trade servers and I woke up tday to see like 15 people had been banned.

Apparently people were going Engi and setting up a sentry and then using like the high five taunt or any taunt while their sentry killed people. Because they were taunting and getting kills it banned them. The method you are using as the above people stated is not very good, and it would be nice if you added a way to disable taunt kill detection as I don't think it's ready for public yet.

Indeed it was flawed, I have fixed it in 0.4+, This new method works by actually making sure a player can't fire while taunting. No more bans involved.

With the new plugin I found another issue. If you are taunting as the round starts it freezes you until the end or the round. This happens on my Dodge Ball server where there is a 10 second freeze time before round begins. If you use something like high five taunt and leave it up until the timer hits 0 and the round starts you stay frozen and can't walk.

Version 0.7 Uploaded, Experimental fix for the TF2 Karts. (Will test)
Edit: Test failed and false positives still exist, Will try and fix then update the plugin.
