Sending the message still works, wouldn't it be legal if someone made the files by themselves? I'd be up for it, it's not like tutor is patented or anything.

Sounds logic, but is it possible to use these custom files?

sure, the client will automatically precache them if they have the same filename, so if I (or someone) figures out how are the resource files built this should be no problem at all

But what if client already have that file, you cant delete it and precache new one?

Why would I? It's his problem, the server did nothing illegal because it didn't distribute any copyrighted files.

If you meant they would see a different message then that probably doesn't matter. I might be able to check for consistency, though I'm really not sure about this and perhaps give them a warning that they should delete those files.

The goal is to make the custom files compatible (in the same format as the old ones), so that shouldn't really be an issue anyway ;)

I think this could work, anyone else has an opinion about this?
