Restrict Weapons Extended
- last updated : 11th May 2014


Description:

This is an extended version of AmxModX Official Plugin "Restrict Weapons" ( restmenu.sma / restmenu.amxx ) for Mod "cstrike"

Features:

I won't waste your time by mentioning what things it already had ( Something you should know even before using original restmenu.sma )
  1. Immediate Player Weapon Drop on Restriction
    • Drops Weapon Slot 1 and 2 Weapons.
    • Drops Shield
    • Removes Defusal Kit, Nightvision and Vest ( Kevlar ) and Vesthelm ( Kevlar + Helmet )
    • For Slot 4 Weapons ( GRENADES ), there is support for "Nade Drop" Plugins ( else only removes )
  2. Immediate Restriction on Player Weapon PickUP
    • Weapon PickUP
    • Shield PickUP
    • Support for Restriction on Maps having Vest ( Kevlar ) or Vesthelm ( Kevlar + Helmet ) PickUP

Requirements:
  • AMXModX v1.8.3-dev-hg140 or above
  • Modules:
    • Fakemeta
    • Hamsandwich
    • Cstrike

Good job. Had an idea to create something like this for quite a while (never got time to actually do it). Really nice.

@MPNumb - Thanks Can you help me in something? I have been trying to figure out if I could prevent a player from getting default weapons at spawn if restricted. eg. CSW_USP is given to players at spawn even though I restricted it

There is an approved plugin that you can look at for blocking spawn weapons. Search.

Hook CBasePlayer::GiveDefaultItems(id) with orpheu, if weapon blocked then supercede it.

Souvikdas can you please add "OnlyKnife" ?

So that no need to restart a round , immidiately drops all weapons / grenades and players can't pick up / bought new weapons. ?

i think that's not the purpose of this plugin. the thing you asked for, already exists. search the plugins on this forum.

Yes I can do it but it won't support shield ( specifically get/set_pdata_bool() )

Well, Then you can include 2 versions together .. First on the stable build (Excluding Shield) and Second on the Developer Build.
I dont think moderators will approve a plugin on developer build.
So you will have to wait till 1.8.3 is officially released as a stable build.
