CSGO Patch Mar 6/14: Server Crashing

Server is crashing after the first three rounds after this patch. Anyone know how to fix?

Edit: Looks like it happens whenever somebody is kicked or banned, and seems to affect only Windows servers.

Check your plugins. I've found that SourceBans are crashing server, too.

I'm going to assume there are a bunch of plugins that crash it, because mine crashes exactly at round 3.

Okey, what I've found is that sm_ban and sm_kick crashes server. Also, whenever banned player tries to join the server, it crashes too. Seems like something is wrong with refusing player to play on the server.

Yup that was my problem I think. People would use reserved slots to kick somebody and that would crash it.

the problem ocurrs when I try to kick or ban someone

I have try snapshot 1.5.3 and 1.6.0 in windows

This appears to be a windows only problem again.

If it doesn't occur on linux, it's due to dumb luck.

The update changed some functions on an interface that SM uses for kicking players. We'll have an update soon.

Ahh thank you psychonic. Please let me know when it's sorted. I need to donate to SM; never have, but you guys are always so good at fixing these things when they come out (which seems to be every patch now, since valve is desperately trying to push people to their shitty mm servers).
