I have no idea why this happens, tried with most sm and meta versions, oh and fyi curl runs, I was just to lazy to take a new pic.
Does anyone else have this issue ?

There is no steamtools support for L4D2.
Also, you can add asherkin's accelerator to get more debug information.

I knew there was no support for it, but I still get a error that its not loaded, with or with out the file in exts folder. Installed the accelerator to see if that helps. Cheers

One of the smac models I believe(if I read it right from a different thread) require steamtools for optional features.
Edit: Also Updater also optionally use steamtools, just ignore the steamtools error as it might be Updater causing it but using cUrl to function.
