So what? If you want to show rules in hud message without having to worry about the channels then thats what you have to do. I'd like you to show some benchmark results that show its worth to change the displaying method of the rules. Because efficiency is not everything, there is appearance and usability also. For example you can't play at the same time when you are reading rules from the motd.

If you coded a mod and wanted to add some cool feature but doing that you would need to use 'heavy' forward... Would you still think same way just ditch the whole feature because its not as efficient as not having it?

I can't argue that dhud message is the optimal choice but something you need to use if you have other plugins that keep the channels busy.

I have had a plugin that uses both regular and dhud message to show messages because of the 4 channel limitation. I had 3-4 looping tasks and it had no affect whatsoever.

You almost never have a server where there is all 4 channels occupied. Its not so complicated as you might think.
