I have looked around for ages, and can't find anything similar. Hopefully somebody could try my request.
Can somebody please make a plugin where I can individually replace one animation sequence with another?
Example - Replacing Idle_Standing_Sniper_Military with Idle_Standing_Sniper

So the survivors won't hold the Military sniper like this: (Idle_Standing_Sniper_Military)


But instead, will hold it like this: (Idle_Standing_Sniper)


I am willing to do anything for a plugin like this!

Hmm, maybe try and use dhooks to hook something like "CBaseAnimating::SetSequence(int)" or "SendWeaponAnim(int)" or "CBaseCombatWeapon::SendViewModelAnim(int )" and replace the parameter.

Could you further explain this to me? Help me out a little since I'm new to the whole concept..?

This plugin successfully changes the animations in L4D1 to allow the beta reloading animations.

It could probably be modified to do just what you ask in L4D2, as long as the animations exist in the folders.

Since those animations belong to the hunting rifle. I can't see why it wouldn't work.

You'd just have to know what your doing.
