Hello fellow AlliedMods members,

I have a plugin called UltimateFTB and I want to release it to the public. But the thing is that I am not sure if it actually works. Coding wise nothing is wrong, but it needs testing on a real server with real players. And here I come to you guys for help.

Why is testing this plugin harder than others? Well because in order to test this plugin, I need two players with the same IP to join the test server (which I actually don't have). Let me give you a quick description of what this plugin does.

First of all the name is UltimateFTB (FTB stands for Fade To Black). What it does is, search for all players connected from the same household/cafe (a.k.a. players with same ip), and sets fade to black on these individuals (players are stored in groups - by groups I mean that each IP shared by several players makes a group). This is to prevent possible ghosting. There is also another feature where the admins have a file in the configs folder that they can put up to 20 IPs that will automatically have fade to black upon connecting to the server. Also admins can be excluded from this with a simple cvar. I am planning to add fade to black by STEAM ID and/or by NAME, but first I need to make sure that the plugin is working fine.

So what do I need from you after you download and install the plugin? The following:

• Get two players with the same IP to join your test server (yes your server cause I don't have any)
• Check if, when the second player joins (again the one with the same IP as the other one), the player gets a message notifying him about fade to black.
• An admin to type amx_print_ftb to check which players have ftb turned on.
• Check if upon death the players who have ftb have a black screen (just like fade to black).
• Put your IP in the UltimateFTB.ini file and see if you get a black screen when you die (I know I can test this, but its 2:15 AM and I need some sleep )
• One of the two players who have the same IP has to disconnect and then check if the other player gets a message notifying him that he no longer has ftb.

I would really appreciate you guys helping me out with this, as I think that this plugin would be great for several servers out there when I publish it.

The plugin is below, and remember UltimateFTB.ini (where you store up to 20 IPs to have ftb) is located in the 'configs' folder. You have to create one there, it's not hard to do so.

DruGzOG, it could be that there is another plugin that does a similar thing and I think it's somewhere on this forums (maybe in the unapproved section).
