I have a few custom guns. ( shotgun,grenade launcher,railgun . etc )
in each plugin I have takedamage/ calculate damage or kill victim

I wonder if possible to make damage calculations from all weapons in one separate plugin using lets say
different damage type like dmg_bullet , dmg_shock .etc to determine what weapon did that.

so each weapon will make unique dmg_ shock/rad/generic and then another plugin will catch that . the point is to use only one takdamage function instead of many in each plugin

lets say you have 10 weapon plugins and in each plugin you are using the same function ham_takedamage

wouldnt it better to use that "takedamage" in ONE plugin and calculate something for all 10 plugins

You want to get damage from weapons or you want to set damage for weapons?
