In reference to this, I wanted to know if it was possible to make it so that if you said something ingame, like /mytime , it would tell you how long you have been playing for.

You mean how long they been on your server since they connected? How long they played on your server in total?

The plugin logs the total time played, and everytime you connected to the server, it would start counting where it left off previously.

I was thinking of, if you say /mytime, it would say something like "You have played for <this long>" in the chat area, like it was a say command.

Example:

Someguy: yeah, that was so cool...
Willmaker: /mytime
You have played for <this long>.

As far as I know, there aint any timer functions in amxx.
I requested one some time ago, but bail said the next releases would only be bug fixes so it wasnt done.

So you would have to use set_task or something to count mins/secs, which would be buggy and might laggy.

I don't understand why it should be buggy.

When someone connects take the current time and store it in a var (or file)
When someone says the command, check the current time and take of the time that was stored when he came in

I thought it wouldnt be that hard. The plugin already records the time, and even displays the results on a webpage, using MySQL. I was just hoping someone could change or add to the plugin so that if you said /mytime, it would get the result from the MySQL database in the example I made in my previous post.
