Hey, having a few problems with this script, basically it all works ok but occasionally it will crash the server. Hoping you guys can help spot the cause.

Heres basically what the script does, http://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?t=18767 although using motd windows with it rather than print center

Ive tried to fix it myself but i cant get my head round it, plus our servers pretty much full 24/7 and people tend to get pissed off if it keeps crashing

Also is the touch the best way of detecting when the player presses use on the sign. Im sure that bits the code thats causing the problem tbh

are u going over the entity limit?
I just quickly peeked over ur script and it seems ok.

nah, the server just crashes without any error messages in its console. normally when its goes over the entity limit it will say so

Im not exactly sure when/why it happens
the script does what its meant without any problems except the crashing, you can spawn and read it but seems to crash fairly regularly when i try it on the server.

Ive tested it on lan and tried to cause it to crash but ive not been able to.

Ive tried getting 2 people to read it at the same time, but thats ok.

I doubt its the actual create_note code because thats mostly lightly edited tripmine code.

Could it possibly be anything to do with the player name / message that they've entered?
