Reply With Quote #1

Hello,

I tried to generate valid spawnpoints for entities using serveral methods, but each one often generates unreachable positions, so I have another idea now.
Does anyone know how to save positions (X,Y,Z in each line) and load randomly one of them when I create a sprite?
Something like iOrigin[0] = get_random_position("textfile",0).

Seriously, each time you ask something and you don't even try. That's not the purpose of this section. Also, there are several plugins you can look, like CSDM, Runemod, etc. Really how can you release plugins when you're asking thing that basic (reading a file and when there are already tutorials) ? Please stop that.

I never used such functions, thats why I ask.

I tried GHW's Spawnlist Generator, this one and this one, but I failed with all of them.

Then post here explaining what you have done, showing code, what it fails, what you tried, etc.

I'd like to, but this tutorial
returns me "Internal Server Error" when I try to open it.
