I'm working on editing a laser plugin, but I don't want it to work on the skybox texture. I figure it would work if you can check the texture of a block, but I don't know of any way to get the texture from a single brush.

Anyone have any ideas?

I doubt the server even knows what texture is mapped to what geometry/model. All it should be concerned with is the alpha mask of the texture (for visibility.. If that) and the physics of the map/models.. But who knows.

Looks like it is just monitoring surface props, not textures.
Same kind of thing that models bundle with physics.. Inertia, mass, damping, metal... Etc.

That being said, it would probably be possible to detect skybox, as it wont have a surfaceprop... I think. Dont know how you would go aboud doing that, this wont work for that purpose.
