I am planning to write an application in c++ that will autoupdate TF2 servers instantly when a new update is released. But unlike some other auto updaters that are already released, I want to update only one install, an install that is not necessarily used as a server, and then transfer the files to other servers that are on the same machine. The only problem I can see in my head right now is which files I should transfer, since transferring the whole tf2 folder to different directories can take quite a while.
The only way I can see of how to determine which files to transfer as of now is to get the time of the files, and only copy the recent ones.
