What the hell? You stole HaloMod Idea from someone else, also you're charging for a simple plugin that goes Into Half-Life either way, .amxx/ .dll - That's just wrong.
... actually HaloMod was a small project I started about....oh....three days after AnimeMod, so I'd assume its somewhere in 2001 - 2002 range.

Its not exactly a simple plugin. It has its own module for memory hacking of SMALL (now PAWN), and has an interface that works just like Halo. I even coded the WartHog.

It isn't based around EXP or anything, it works just like the normal Halo games. For example, it is MOD inspecific (runs on any HL1 mod, a feat itself), it generates its own stats, etc etc, so forth and so forth.

....I still do not think It should cost, It may not be simple, It's not an entire game. It plugs Into a game. Instead of making plugins for Half-Life, etc, why don't you code your own software? (example: better version of Photoshop).

Also IF you are using AMXX functions for your HaloMod, It should be Illegal for using their functions that THEY wrote. Perhaps you did write your own module with alot of extra features, but some of It has to use AMXX features on It's own.

Why would I code my own software? I don't have a need to code my own software.

For all intents and purposes, HaloMod overrides all weapons systems, and all basic game modes, making it DM or caputre the warthog, etc etc. Your arguement is like saying all mod's should be open source, because they plug into a game.

Under the liscence AMXx is currently under, closed source projects may be rendered as long as both the source and the compiled form of it are given to recipients. If GLC and GNU have changed since I've last looked at them, or if I failed to understand them, I will be happy to comply, and simply delete HaloMod.

I need to eat you know.
