How do you set a hud to display with no effect. Because Whenever my hud appears it keeps flickering like on and off. I just want it to stay solid with no effect

Code:
set_hudmessage( 0, 255, 0, 0.02, -0.22, 2, 0.0, 1.0, 0.0, 0.0, -1 );
show_hudmessage( id, "Welcome to The World of Dreams );
The number 2 inbetween "-0.22" and "0.0" seems to be the effect and this is what happens when i Change it to this bottom numbers
* 0: fade in and out
* 1: fade in and out but seems to be more glowy of some sort
* 2: fade in and out sort of the same as 0

Edit:
set_hudmessage ( red=200, green=100, blue=0, Float=-1.0, Float:y=0.35, effects=0, Float:fxtime=6.0, Float:holdtime=12.0, Float:fadeintime=0.1, Float:fadeouttime=0.2, channel=4 )

Well I was able to made the effect look lesser.

Edit:
But for some reason the Hud is affecting other Huds that come out. Does anybody know how to make it so new huds dont affect other huds?

Use fade-in, fade-out effects and set fxtime and fadein time to 0.0, that will just pop up the message.

There are only 4 channels for normal HUD messages, you can change the channel to -1 to automatically pick a free channel but that won't last long if you have lot of HUD messages.
If you just need to send a message and don't need to cancel or update it, search for "Director HUD messages" in the code/snippets forum.
