Hey guys, found this plugin off of AMX and thought this could be useful for some of you (definitely useful for me!).

This Plugin allows you to change server side models and will precache all models so that all your clients can use them. I don't really deserve much credit for the plugin since I did was change

#include <amxmod>
#include <amxmisc>
#include <VexdUM>

To

#include <amxmodx>
#include <amxmisc>
#include <engine>

Btw, when installing new models, make sure name the models something other than the default names, or else the server will think that people already have the file and noone will receive the files necessary.

The Problems with this plugin is:
Knife sounds works not
P_ models works not
Precache models/sounds works not

you may fix it or so can you let other one try fix it
or would this post be trashed

For me the precache of models worked after a map change. I was not able to test knife and knife sounds. I was able to get p models and v models to work but was not sure about w models. You made sure you changed the name as well as put the cvars in your server.cfg?

I already know I must set it to amxx.cfg or server.cfg
you may test the plugin 100% before you post remember that.

And remember to change Category.

Yeah, it has been done by Twilight, its better than this one because you don't have to wait next map or restart everytime for it to precache.

The only problem with that one is that it requires xen core and the ArrayX module. Plus I thought this one was more simple, didn't really understand how yours worked. When I tried it my no matter what file name i put, it said the precache was done, even if the file that i told it to precache didn't exist (and no clients would recieve necessary sprites/models). Plus after a map change it would crash

Yeah, true that. I've had this running on my server since like April. But, I don't like restarting the server for precaching. Well, people prefer plugins over the other, whatever.

Xeno Core. And the reason it uses ArrayX is cause its 50x faster.
And that was the old version. New version works perfecto.
