I'm pretty sure I've heard this before, but this is flat out not possible in CS:S, correct? It'd be nice to play music or display a graphic as the game loads with Source engine games as well.

You're able to play music on mapchanges, if the player already were on the server before the mapchange. Music streamed in a motd won't stop during mapchange. It'll stop when the player finally joins the server and the motd is shown again.

The graphic isn't changeable.

Since this thread was already bumped, I might as well mention that the music will only stop after a map change if the server is running an HTML motd. If you are using the standard motd.txt with just plain text, the music will transition just fine.

But this is only for AMXX? The image on loading box, I dont want sound.

You CAN make such an image in source as well, it just isn't nearly as easy.
