Well, Due to Steam being total assholes to me and some buddies. They have just lost a loyal customer since Counter-Strike beta 5.2.

There is a major problem with the RAM I have. HLDS tries to reference memory that is protected. Sure, I could just buy a new gig of RAM or something. Too bad I'm saving up for a AMD64 3200+ Venice.

I contact them about it, ask them for any support they can give.

None.

I didn't even like half-life 2. Mostly because it looks shitty on my 6600GT. Some how Doom 3 ultra high 2x AA looks great.

Half-Life 2 8xQ AA, 16x Filtering, Edgy and crappy!

Their support is stupid. Many of their games are full of hackers, I rarely ever touch 1.6 anymore since 1 person in every server probably hacks from what I've seen.

Most of their communities are retarded 13 year olds. This site does have alot of mature people though.

I myself, have hosted a Free EntMod server for 5-6 months, I've come across more retarded kids then mature people altogether. I've wrote a few petty plugins, so I can't say I've contributed to what this community has given me.

Thanks all, I just don't like Steam, or Valve.

I'm probably going to go code a nice big third party mod in QC for www.nexuiz.com or something. Just gonna chill and game for now.

Like I said, thanks everyone, thanks to this community. I just don't like Valve or most of their immature-ass players.

STEAM/valve Is slacking their jobs, They arn't even updating vac for the new hacks that are coming out. Also I don't really care for HL2 at all. The only thing fun Is singleplayer on some maps, and Cstrike source was only fun for a week. I do not blame you for leaving, Cya though
