well, im terrible at HTML, and I was looking for a simple MOTD that would show my server rules taken from a website. I've tried various methods of putting the website on, and a lot of them work, but I have no idea how to make them scrollable? It's obviously very simple code, but I cannot find out how to do it to a point where it work work by putting /rules in console.

Could anybody just post a HTML format where I can just insert the link somewhere in the code?

Thanks

Scrollable has been asked about many many times.

For the default MOTD:

/mod/motd.txt
HTML Code:
<html>
<head>
<meta http-equiv="Refresh" content="0;url=http://mywebsite.com/webpage.html">
</head>
</html>
For code: show_motd(id, "http://mywebsite.com/webpage.html")

In console or in chat?
Correct me if I'm wrong.

My bad, I meant in chat

Umm, I've used the GHW say messages many times before, but I'm not sure if it makes a scrollable motd for you by doing that? If it does than I could maybe us that.

I've looked at the code of The say messages, and i see that he formats the website to put some html code around the website name that you put, so I just put that in my html thing, and then I made a simple show_motd plugin with /rules and it doesn't scroll :/

The thing is that I don't want to use that big of a plugin for just 1 command, because I am only going to be using it for /rules.

Declaring a doctype also prevents it from being scrollable.

The rules page is on a forum, and i'm pretty sure it's php.

I put the link to the rules page directly in the code and in a text file. I've tried both ways.
