Hello everyone, i'm just made my own server and when i also have around 5-6 players on the server they have the ping like 70-100 idk why my computer is very fast my network is 32mbit and on all other servers they have around 30-50 ping max i changed the rates in server.cfg i use only sourcemod no eventscript. i tried everything i can't find a solution to fix this lagg x.x maybe someone out on allied modders could help me out?

You obviously know nothing about pings.
Pings depend on the geographical location of a person, and the server.
The further apart the two are, the higher the ping is.
Ping can also be affected if the server is being overloaded, or your network speed is too low.

I have a question regarding this thread. I noticed when i have 50+ players on a map the srcds gets overloaded and their ping rises. I know that the server it self aint overloaded, im running multiplie servers and the other servers are running just fine when that server is lagging like hell. Any ideas how to make srcds go smoother?

oh i almost forgot, it also depends what map it is. If everyone is close each other the lag starts. But if they are on a distance the server is alot more not laggy =)

Sourceengine is designed for 32 players max. I always wondered about BGservers with 64 Slots, how they get performance
