But, I just realized that you have the Windows AMX Mod X, I'm on Linux . I think my version of compile.exe is compile.sh.
Yeah, I just realized that I'm using compile.exe solely because amxxpc.exe wasn't executable on my laptop (since I'm on 64bit ).

compile.exe and compile.sh are just batch scripts that compile lots of files. The actual compiler is amxxpc(.exe)

Sorry for bumping this, but I've been trying to find a solution to no avail. I used compile.exe (I'm on a windows) and thats all I could find. I put the exe into my settings so I could start compiling locally, however I get an error message saying,

// Could not find amxxpc.exe

Anyone know how to fix this? Thanks.

I could only find it in the amxx source code I downloaded. The compiler was in there. When I downloaded the regular amxmodx for windows, it didn't come with a compiler. Is this what I was supposed to be downloading or am I completely wrong?

http://www.amxmodx.org/downloads.php

Get the full installer and install to your computer.

Then navigate to:
C:\Program Files\AMX Mod X\files\base\scripting
Or wherever you installed AMXX at.

Put the .sma in there and compile it,

Thanks Exolent. Found it. For some reason it wasn't coming up in a search of my computer. Ill try and compile it now. Thanks a ton for the help.

Edit: Awww crap. I put the .sma and the include file in the same folder, yet I still get an error saying.

"Error: Cannot read from file: "chr_engine" on line 32"

Anyone know why this would happen?
