I've noticed a few Sourcemod plugins here work with particles. Hope this helps someone.


Check back here often. As im going to be eventually adding the particles for the other games displayed as well.

Notice: In the event this list becomes outdated, you can simply use dump_particlemanifestto get a full particle dump.

I don't know which GCF contains the Half Life 2 particles. Source 2007 Shared Materials has some particle files but i'm not sure if those are the correct ones.

If we're talking about HL2:DM, it has access to anything in that GCF. Incidentally, so does DoD:S, CS:S, and TF2.

You can launch the game with -tools to enter the particle editor and such, and load all of the particle files and view/edit them. Their names will also be available there.
