so if i used this code for it then i could scroll down to view what is being blocked or is this just to make the code smaller

You should be able to scroll now too. Try it out and see.

FYI, the <!DOCTYPE . . .> declaration prevents scrolling.

oo thank you so much lol and so i know more of this is there like a website or a book to learn more of this coding so i can do it all myself instead of getting help???

I use http://www.w3schools.com/ but if you don't like that then you can always use Google.

don't use <!-- comments inside style tags. use /* */ instead.

No. It must be a HTML comment. I don't use comments at all in my style tags.
