windows 7 cs 1.6 dedicated server

Hello guys. Last time I got help from this website and i got my problem solved. Now, i have a new problem. I now have a new computer but not it's windows 7. The last computer was xp. I downloaded the dedicated server from tools, port-forwarded, i can join my own server and everything. However, I don't know why my server won't come up in the internet server list. It shows up in the favorites because i added it. It seems like no one is joining. However, when i put it up in the xp.. people eventually join. I was wondering if there's something special that windows 7 does like firewall that blocks cs dedicated servers letting people in. Can you guys help me figure this out?

Windows 7 is not compatible with Cs1.6
I also have Windows 7 in my pc.
But in my other disc y have instaled xp and I can play from there,
So I recommend mmmm.... I don't know

Try to buy a new disc and from there install xp

Yo.. i can play cs 1.6 with windows 7... i can actually play! so how does that work heh?

1) CS(hl.exe) works fine under Windows 7 !!! (not sure about hlds.exe probably there are some specific issues!?)
2) Which IP Did U added to favorites? (post it plz)
3) Did U check also Ur Security software (firewalls McAffee, Norton, KIS ...)?
If U downloaded HLDS with UPDATETOOL than everything should be fine
But if U using ingame HLDS (especially unsupported 47 protocol builds) than Ur server wouldn't show up on Internet tab!
However as I know I never couldn't find my own server on search even when all my players joined from INTERNET! So why U think that server is invisible try to leave it for 1 day than check LOGS if Ull find that some one joined than Ull need spam server IP and thats it!

ok i'll leave it on for a day... but it's weird.. no one joins.. there's something wrong... but i can join and everything.. oh yea.. my ip address is 192.168.1.102:27015. try to join please

that ip isn't the ip people can join on. you need to take your ip from www.whatsmyip.org and put yourip:27015

If you expect people to join it, yes we need your external IP

Not accessible. And there is no response for ping from this IP. There is some reasons:
1) it's not your external IP (check it again @ http://www.whatsmyip.org/)
2) You have a misconfigured firewall
3) you mistaken with port forwarding.

the ip is 5.246.146.249:27015.. I've port forwarded correctly.. i don't know how to configure firewalls for windows 7... port forwarded 1200 to 1200, 27000 to 27015, 27020 to 27039. oh yea.. does it matter if it's single port-forwarding or port range forwarding? For the ip.. that's what it says from the box (server)
