Is there some sort of program, metamod plugin, or amxmodx plugin to prevent a DoS attack? I found one called AntiCSDoS, but I don't know whether if it's bugged, out dated, or something of that nature.

EDIT: 8/11/10

There seems to be a new exploit that's been talked about, but the discussion about it has died out it seems. I'd like to start a new discussion and get a working fix for it made right away if possible.

There it includes a link to actually download and set it up. It's basically needed that I've done this as there is no other way to fix it without releasing it to the public.

CSDoS is ineffective on Steam servers.

I saw some threads about that. So, is there an exploit against steam servers around? I did not understand if its only for non steam servers or not. Also if someone provides the bytes to patch to fix, one can make a plugin to patch the memory instead of installing software to patch.

I'd just like to make it clear that my server is NOT non steam.

I made a simple plugin to avoid sending the server down when that situation happens. I don't know if it is enough to keep it running. If somebody can teach me how to crash it or test this I will appreciate .

Needs this

I see, but not test. This only prevent Host_Error Func close the server.

They have to work.
