What are this "24/7" people are talking about?

I see servers with it in the name and stuff...

Oh, it means that the server is open 24 hours a day, and 7 days a week?
So it means that the server is always open...???

I just asked before thinking... When i thinked over it, i remebered that it was something like that... You can see my edit in first post.
