Maybe the wav is too big, I tested with both mp3 and wav. Put quotes around the different args.

Your wav file must fit in these requirements:

Bit rate : 176kbps
Audio sample size : 8 or 16 bit
Channels : 1 (mono)
Audio sample rate : 22 KHz ( max 44KHZ )
Audio format : PCM

Ok well I moved onto an .mp3 file. Does it have to follow the same requirements?

WAV takes up more space right? Or is worse quality?

and
Bit rate : 176kbps
would be 176kbps or less correct?

A bad sound will not crash your server.

Yes wav takes more space.

I mean bad as in it takes up TOO much space. This was my error (crashed my game) when I used a .wav file.

COM_LoadFile:not enough space for /sound/ambience/music.wav

---

I switched to an .mp3 file, it doesnt crash the server but it also fails to play so I am going to try a worse quality of the .mp3 to see if that will make it work

A sound file size is ridiculous ; it's quite weird you don't have any space already on your ftp.

I know... I have never encountered that problem before. But anyway, I moved to an .mp3. I have even tried a worse quality of it. I used 64Kbps, Mono. STILL doesnt work and that is the lowest I can go for an .mp3. So I still think the plugin isnt correct. Or maybe I am suppose to do something in the .ini file like...

"de_dust2_cz" "ambience/Theme.mp3" "188" or something like that.... maybe it only goes up to 100 seconds?

For your need, a simple solution would be to use a wav and using a sound editor to mark the sound in loop.

Btw, the script doesn't precache the sound, probably because of that.

What sound editor would you recommend I try that in?
Your saying because it doesnt loop, that it wont even precache once?
