I orginally posted this in the ATAC thread (http://forums.alliedmods.net/showthr...?t=382&page=16), but I realized it wasn't just a problem with that plugin, but ALL the plugins I tried to put in. Anyway, I feel really dumb right now. I installed the admin_allinone plugin as soon as I got my server, and felt really special that I got it my first try. Then I tried to get ATAC working, and boy it didn't go so well. I followed the steps, first I uploaded the two .amxx files to my amxx/plugins folder; then I edited the plugins.ini located in my amxx folder and added the lines:

amx_atac_cfg.amxx
amx_atac.amxx

I then uploaded the atac folder to my amxx/configs folder. Then I realized that might not be right, so I also uploaded the two files in that folder straight to config. AMXX fun is installed, I have turned autokick and tkpunish to 0, I have turned friendly fire on, and restarted the server. I then shot my fellow teammate right in the face and....

ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.

I have no idea what I'm doing wrong, as I followed the directions exact. And to make things worse, I followed up with installing the Bazooka Plugin http://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?t=7952. I put the bazooka.amxx file in my amxx/plugins/ folder. Then I put the .wav file in my sounds folder in the right spot, and I added the bazooka.amxx line to my plugins.ini located in my amxx folder. When I start the server, NOTHING. Just to try one more time, I installed the "piss" plugin, abosolutely nothing either. This is pissing me off very muchly, so much I want to scream. So can ANYONE tell me why admin_allinone worked but none of the others I install do?

Attach your addons/amxmodx/configs/plugins.ini file.

Wait, is it supposed to be in my /configs folder instead of just the /amxx folder? If that's the case. I'll move it there right now and change the level.

Okay. DIDN'T WORK! Yay. Anyway, here is my plugins.ini.

What version do you have? All of the default plugins in plugins.ini have the .amx extension. As of RC 0.20 or so, they all got the .amxx extension. You could be using an old version of AMXx which is not compatable with the plugins you are trying to run.

And, yes, it goes in addons/amxmodx/configs.

Also, the old version was addons/amxx/configs, the new version is addons/amxmodx/configs.

All signs point to an old version.

Oh man. One problem into another. So, I installed AMX 1.0. Now when I hit "meta list" in console it displays version 1.0. Problem is, I edited my users.ini and made it identical to the users.ini I had with my previous version. But, what do you know? I have no admin in this one. Big problem, any suggestions here? (I know my steam ID is right and all because I used it before on my older version.)

Okay, here it is. Sorry for the insane amount of spaces, my FTP program does that. Anywho, I can see if any of these plugins are working currently because I don't have the admin to do so, since it won't work. Hmm. Move it if coherent.

If my FTP program did that, I'd get a new one..

Wow. The plot thickens. So I reinstalled my server. It came of course with the old AMXX folder. So I installed new Amxmodx V 1.0 and set that all up. However, I found out my server was running the old version whilst still displayed AmxmodX V 1.0 in my meta list. So I deleted the old version, and now it still displays in my meta list as 1.0, but nothing is running. I checked the dll, it's the exact same name except changed to the new version. I'm just guessing it's a limitation on the server I'm renting from, so I'll have to email them.
