1998, "Half-Life" won over 50 "Game Of The Year" awards.
In 2000 a kick ass mod was created called "Counter-Strike".
Valve kept on updating it... Up to 1.5. From "gold-engine" to "steam-engine", making a new start with 1.6 version.
In 2004 "Counter-Strike: Condition Zero" and "Counter-Strike: Source" were released.
During all that time valve made many mistakes...
Many loyal CS fans didn't and don't like CSS cause it provides people what they want to see in the game and what they were waiting for, but removes almost everything what made CS such an unique and skill required first-person-shooter. Some even stayed in 1.5, many others just quit when 1.4 was released... In 2009/april/24 attempt to fix silent-run (so called russian-run), valve almost destroyed kreedz-jumping what has about 250.000 registed members including the asian communities...
Now valve once again are planing to release a brand new version of this game...

But still I think you should check out the link. Anyway tell what you think about it.
Ow almost forgot some more info I found:
from "Gooseman":
"I can't say much about CS2 .. All I can say is , everything is being done from scratch. There will be new guns but at the same time we'll be keeping some old ones. I'd say half new ones, and half old ones. We're also working on some new scenarios as well."
Anyway, what do you think?
Will it be a Counter-Strike 'revolution' or the same fail like with CSS?
Will leagues get interested in it as they did with 1.6?
Will you buy it?
What could keep you in it?
What could make you think that this game is poor or/and isn't worth your time?
Your own comments...
