I installed the server via steamcmd and ran it a few times and got it working for public play. After installing Sourcemod and Metamod, the server will launch but any attempts to join the server, either via history or command connect fail, albeit they allow an ATTEMPT at connecting, but fail almost immediately, and looking at the console reveals that they never even made contact.

After a few minutes of messing around however, trying both secure and insecure launch methods, i was able to get the server to run on Lan by removing "+sv_setsteamaccount XXXXX -net_port_try 1" from my run.bat and setting "sv_lan 1" in autoexec.cfg

Do either sourcemod or metamod prevent public server use? do i need to install client side? is there any way to allow a public server with sourcemod and metamod?
