Doing a search for 'DoS' here for servers or within the Forum search leads to a bunch of different methods and plugins to prevent DoS attacks. A lot of them are just left there without details on whether A) The issues they address have been fixed by the team

or

B) Whether the plugin even loads/works anymore.

I think for something as important as server security it would be nice to have a list of what most server operators will want to install and run to help protect their servers against malicious attacks. It's pretty impossible to make Xs and Os of all the various plugins, edits and updates that have been posted and whether they're relevant anymore.

Just to let U know that DAF version 4b for Orangebox stoped working with latest MetaMod. It was working fine on my CS:S servers with MM 1.8...

im relyin on the host(s) for a while now, for 1 daf wasnt necessary and for the other, like padovski said, daf stopped working a while back
