Updated gamedata signature file to work with L4D2 SteamPipe update, re-download and replace your gamedata file with the new one.

Hi Silvers,

I'm trying to find in the source for the core plugin, where it states the starting height for the plane and missile to fall... On some maps the plane is too high so its not visible, and the missile detonates above the ground before it hits anything. Being a fairly new noob to the whole scripting thing, i'm a bit unsure of where to amend it. If you could point me in the right direction it would be most appreciated.

Looking for a way to lower these both so it will always detonate on the ground.

Hi,

I amended that to 500, and also changed MoveForward(vPos, vAng, vPos, 2400.0); on line 598 to 1200 (assumed half and half would make sense).

The bomb and plane now appear correctly, and the bomb explodes on the ground, but a new issue arisen is the bomb now flies straight past the target as its too low I assume. Ie, if I spawn it on my position, it will blow up about 20 feet behind me after flying over my head.

Is there another part to change to help it line up a bit more?

1.2 (31-Jul-2013)
- Added new forwards "F18_OnAirstrike" and "F18_OnMissileHit" for developers to make custom plugins when the missile fires/hits.
- Added new plugin "l4d2_airstrike.dead_air" to destroy the barricade on c11m3 (Garages) when the missile hits near by.
- Added new plugin "l4d2_airstrike.no_mercy" to destroy the gas station on c8m3 (Sewers) when the missile hits near by.
- Fixed the jet/missile spawning on most maps with high or low skyboxes, should work fine now.


Big thanks to "worminater" for helping with some code and lots of help testing.


Edit: fixed the Dead air and No Mercy demo plugins:

We dont need to install that SDKHooks extension anymore, since its already included in SourceMod 1.5.0 final.

Anyone having an issue with the trigger boxes saving? They work fine until the server is restarted and then it's all gone.

When I create a trigger box and pair it to a target zone it says "saved" on the screen text but then nothing saves.

Heya Silver. It's been a while since my server went down back in 2012. Now that I have a new one, I figure I'd try this out. It'll be a interesting combination with Explosive Cars.

Along with the trigger and menu executed airstrikes, can there be a another target setup that can continuously strike a spot at random intervals throughout the start & end of a map ? I'm not sure but could there be also a non-strike trigger to ? Just to make the Jet's do a flyby without dropping anything.

every time i fire like a bunch of missiles the game crashes can u make a new update to make the crashing stop or tell me how to fix this plz
