Correction, is flipping hilarious! The amount of players buying AWP's tonight because they were restricted previously, only to find out that they get slayed when they go to fire, as been amusing the admins all night.

The same thing happened on my server, i went in to play , and 1 of the reguars there asked "any idea why im catching on fire for using the awp???" , i about died laughing .

I absolutely completely disagree with any plugin that completely removes the ability to use any weapon in the game effectively, but make sure you don't forget to utilize "extinguishplayer" everywhere where a player should have the fire "extinguished" as, without this, the client will forever emit a "burning" sound.

I just thought I'd point that out, I know I have that problem in ATAC, but I have too much rewriting to do to throw in the extinguish stuff.

I also like expressing my feelings on weapon limitation, I feel a game should be played how it was built, not any other way, when I go to play css, I want to play css, not something else, but that's just me. I use to refuse to play in a server that was in every single one of my friends favorites, why did I refuse? It banned smoke grenades, in 1.5, SMOKE grenades, and I didn't even play there.

well technicly , every line of programming YOU do is an alteration to the game and the way it was MADE to be . thats why they call this mod's(modifactions to a games originol status) .

Actually personally, I define it this way: Modifications are anything that modify the core engine to create a different game, anything that utilizes the existing code would be a plugin.

My plugins are usually administrative functions, save for the knife mugging one. though ATAC is the only one I work on.
