Hi,

would it be possible to make a headshot only mod for counter-strike source?
I've been searching for this plugin for a really long time but I just can't find anything usefull.
I found a config file you can load that changes the sk_... values but it doesn't make any difference (same with sv_cheats 1)
Maybe it's impossible in CS:S but I don't think it is ;)
Would it be easy to make something like this? Maybe I can program this myself (I have "some" programming xp)

I know it's possible to hook damage-taking-related events for players, but I'm not sure if it's possible to get info on where it hit and all of that. I wouldn't be surprised if it's possible, but remember, plugins like these break easily across updates because Valve is unwilling to provide adequate interfaces for these kinds of features.

Okay, i have made somehing nice using eventscript- there is only one problem and its the awp.
you may want to restrict it its the only weapon that dosent have to headshot to kill.

I wouldn't use EventScripts, especially when there is a server plugin to do the job.

yeah i sopose but, it will EASLY be replicated in sourcemm or w/e, if you like il even port it to a sourcemm plugin

Started dooing it since i posted ;).

Well this MMS version has much better functionality, only problem is Kniving(i think, dident test this) in the back wont work- i can add a feture in v1.1 to alow kniving - but it dosent alow awp to do a 1 hit kill anywhere but the head.

unfortunatly im not soo good with compiling it for linux, gimmi time il figure it out - but for win32 users here is the distro http://www.source-powered.com/download.php?view.4
