Hud Sync Advertisements


Description

With this plugin, multiple ads can sync through on one location, one by one. They can be edited in hudsyncads.ini. Clients also have an option to disable them for themselves, through a cvar, the option could be set only accessible for privileged clients or could be completely disabled.

Cvars

hud_ads_time <float any> Default: 3.0 Time between Advertisements
hud_ads_hide <0-2> Default: 1 Option for clients to hide ads (0 - Off | 1 - Admins only | 2 - On for everyone)
hud_ads_showhostname <0-1> Default: 1 Display host name above advertisement (0 - Off | 1 - On)
hud_ads_color <RRR GGG BBB> Default: 255 255 255 Color of the advertisement in RGB format
hud_ads_time <X Y> Default: -1.0 0.2 Position of the advertisement

GHW is better then this. Yours doesn't have a config file.
Having to recompile a plugin every time you change a ad is Ludacris.

you also didnt add a config file. you have just use the multilang feature and used it wrong.

Ads are inside the multilang file. So It basically works as a config file. Thus Max ads are 7.. if you look at cvars

And just because I posted it, doesn't mean I wont update it... you know?

This will not get approved as I've already stated GHW plugin is far better in every way.

Your plugin can also be far more optimised.

For 1. You need to use a real config file setup and read file then loop thru all ads saving them into a dynamic array then display them randomly.

But GHW plugin does that. So...

I'm still learning.. so I'll need some time until I add it to another update. I just need to know how to get size of the file, to read the file, but I tried different ways and nothing... I don't know.

There are plenty of tutorials that explain how to read and write to files.
