Hi

We have just installed this on our servers and we have sorted out all the admin Groups and added all our servers..

I have a couple of questions

We have Admins only setup on certain servers to run certain servers.

When they ban will it still be across all the servers ?

Also

When our Admins ban on the servers is it automaticaly updated to the database on the webside or do they still have to write there ban in there aswell.


I also get this in my sourcemod logs

L 02/21/2009 - 115:28: [sourcebans.smx] Database failure: Could not find database conf "sourcebans"

What must i do here to fix the problem

Yes it will ban across all servers.

You need to open the port, your mysql server listens to (default: 3306). Maybe this could help you.

Could be a bad char i missed to sort out. Could you pm me the steam group link you try to ban, please?

Hey guys. I'm getting this error in my sourcebans.log file quite frequently and, when it happens, all my bans are removed on my servers that are controlled by SourceBans.

Bans from the web do not work either. Local bans by admins while they are on the server do work, however, including via the admin menu and RCON. It's interesting, because right now the server is submitting bans to the SourceBans database but does not appear to be reading from it. What's also interesting is that I have another server which is working 100% yet is running on nearly the same configuration as the one that is not working. The error I posted above is the only error I receive from SourceBans. Again, everything about it is working except the bans.
