when ever i start hlds sv... automatically some .dat file is created or coming in my cstrike folder.. the file type is unknown ... this cause heavy lag.. i delete these files but its came again and again. help me

Remove Dproto :p then update sv

*.dat files are not unknown file types. They just might not be recognized by the programs that you have on your computer.

Where are these files being create? (i.e. what folder are they in?) Also, could you attach one of them to your next post?
