Im founder of a LAN tournament in sleaford and i wasnted to try out deathmatch at the next one. we run it of non-dedicated servers, i downloaded metamod installed that properly, i then followed the install notes, i ran a game and i type in meta pause and csdm_enable and it says that they arnt recognised. Any help??

Also i follwed the steps on the metamod site about adding the following code to gameinfo.txt

GameBin |gameinfo_path|addons/metamod/bin

so i did what it said, i ran my server tried to type meta, its says unreckognised command, and when i go back to gameinfo.txt that code has gone.

You need to make the gameinfo.txt read only so it doesn't get overwritten

I put the code into gameinfo.txt and then set it to read only, and it still seems to get overwritten, i must be doing something wrong.

go to support forum for Metamod:Source/SourceMM, there is a sticky about using it with listen servers.

One thing is it possible to make it so you aren't on a team so its everyman for himself??
