How can I disable/block certain commands in my L4D2 server?

For example: z_spawn tank

The cvar he posted is protected by sv_cheats. How about making usefull posts instead of beeing a complete ass.

And OP just use smac aka sourcemod anticheat, its the best way to protect your server.
It will block people who bypass sv_cheats.

Thank you checkster, I'm using SMAC but somehow the hacker was still able to turn my sv_cheats into 1 and start spamming tanks.

I now using the command block plugin he posted and ban the 'sv_cheats" command, hope it will stop the hackers from spamming infects again.

Heard SMAC is no longer available due to copyright issue.

if you have the updater plugin it will automaticly update smac.

Is there anyway to block command in console?

I'm still able to use the command if I type it in console.

what console. its not meant to block roots cmds..

Disable rcon and use sm_rcon instead.

Odd. These shouldn't be available by default unless you have sv_cheats enabled. With that said, you can use group permission to restrict using flag assignment.

You mean in the server.cfg insert sm_rcon password?

I already got that.

Right now I believe those hackers are using console to do all those spawning and I'm not sure how to disable it.

I ever played at a server which don't allow console such that when I press my '~' button there is no console window come out.
