set rcon_password to "" to disable it... and then use sm_rcon to use it if you need it ingame


Also if you have some kind of non-steam software in there, then that is probably the problem and its also forbidden to talk about it here. Such software can have security holes in it. (I had problems with that, until I got rid of it)

Yeah, I decided to Google about what you said and people on the other forums was talking about disable the rcon_password to "". Now I understand what you're trying to say now.

No, it doesn't have any non-steam software in it. It was long removed ever since the last few steam update, I didn't know it will get remove automatically for every update. The tag 'non-steam' is still in my server.cfg file until yesterday.
