it's with 30-35 player.
i tried 128 tickrate, but it's worst.


So, where is the problem?

lol you must never run your server as root. Maybe you added user root possible. Than try to disable swap memory.

And you cpu is 2.8 ghz. is low for 40 slots with some stuff. Try from 3.4 or 3.5 Ghz. You have to much cpu usage too. Which type processor is that? xeon, i3,i5 or i7?

This is a 5/6 years old cpu . So your chance to get better performance is very low. You can try to lower tickrate like 32 or lower the player counts.

Others change to a better cpu. CPU is your problem in this case.

what is your recommended CPU?
i'll open only 2 csgo servers. (1 is 128 tick, maybe 40 slot, other 64tick, maybe 40 slot too)

I would say try a Xeon cpu with 3.5 ghz or above. Or you can try intel i7 4790K 4.0 GHZ. i7 is possible to overclocking to 4.4 ghz. I had a Xeon E3 1245v2 3.4 ghz a time ago and i could run a zombie server with 52 slots without any issue. Only round start a little bite lag. sv_var was always white or sometimes yellow but never red.

i am sure much better. It will look like a glass for a half blind person . And dont forgot to get a ssd harddisk. Will help load game faster and run smoother than normal harddisk.
