Hey guys.

I have never really worked with entities in cs, so I wondered if it was possible to spawn a entity with a dynamic length and then use sth like set_rendering to color it red.

Is there an elegant way, or do I really have to find a "wall"-model which would limit me to only one lenght?

I appreciate your help

If dynamic lenght(size) means hitbox, yes you can via mins and maxs but since you can't scale the model a dynamic approach (assuming you mean this) is out of the question.

So there is no way an entity has a visual appearance (using set_rendering) without giving it a model?

Since set_rendering renders the model of the entity and when there is nothing to render it seems like a server crash to me.
