If I set "smac_welcomemsg" to 0 or false...

I still get the message at the start of the game stating the server is protected with SMAC...

I'd like to turn it off (seeing the server isn't official dedicated makes 'em pre-rage quit -- probably cheaters.. but still.)

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks,

-Ben

You must have it set to 1 somewhere else. Did you add it to server.cfg by mistake? A smac.cfg file is automatically generated if it doesn't already exist.

I did (put it in server.cfg -- reflex)

-- sorry for the bothersome post.
