Here's a variant of the plugin that will automatically ban users who attempt the two commands (The action is also logged in SourceMod). Ridiculously, it's added over two dozen bans to my server since I started using it early last night.

You can change flytrap_banmsg to the desired kick message (default: "Banned for using a prohibited command").

dumb question where are the ban's written? so can i can see what steam id are bann'd

SourceMod (without any extended ban plugins) writes bans to cfg/banned_user.cfg. If you're using the flytrap plugin, you'll also see lines in the form: "L 04/29/2008 - 12:06:51: [flytrap.smx] NY Football Drafting Giants<748><STEAM_0:0:2629713><> attempted sv_benchmark_force_start, banning" in the SourceMod log files in addons/sourcemod/logs.

Well this is odd... I was about to try out that command shortly after the flytrap mod was posted and then hordes of people came in crashing the server. Added the flytrap mod and hordes of people got banned. Most that got banned we're listed banned from other servers googling their steamid.

Anyway, this flytrap mod works on the stable release version of sourcemod. Thanks for this mod it was very helpful.

what's the point of banning them though? when valve patches it, hopefully today, people who got banned will just become normal players/newbies that don't know anything more than changing their names and rates in console.

If someone were trying to crash my server, I'd want them banned. That's not someone I want playing on my server even if there aren't any exploits they can use.
