Glad to hear it! I originally developed it for my CS:S Gungame server, and have even modded it a bit more since the version on here, I think. But, nice that I can help others with it.

I like your plugin for the fact it doesn't drop the players level in gungame and switches you to the other team silently undisturbed.

I do have the server set for "sm_cvar mp_ignore_round_win_conditions 1" but I found out later that having set:

bot_quota 4
bot_quota_mode "fill"

the clients start to thin out and start to log off this will leave the teams 2 vs 1 and csgo ignores fill unless you have "sm_cvar mp_ignore_round_win_conditions 0" for it will not add bots until another round begins.

Thanks! That is one of the main reasons I made it....that and having a simpler, less biased balancer...

I cant speak to CS:GO, but for CS:S, they join right away for me. I likewise have mp_ignore_round_win_conditions set to 1. Here is part of my bot cfg for CS:S Gungame:

Bot Setup in server.cfg


They join right after the fill quota isnt met. I also use:
mp_autoteambalance 1
mp_limitteams 1

Try playing with all of those settings. I dont imagine CS:GO is different in that area, but it is always possible.

Something strange did happen yesterday. I was spectating on my csgo server and a client got moved to the other team but noticed when he got moved his name changed with BOT in the front of his name. Could the teambalancer actually change a clients name with the prefix BOT?

At no point does the plugin ever touch names or anything like that...

Yesterday I was playing with a few guys and one of the BOT's on the other team apparently decided to stay dead and never respawned. Truly I get some strange BOT behavior.

Indeed. That sounds like an issue with whatever plugin you are using to make it deathmatch. Sounds like it is buggy.

I was just messaged about this earlier today (I wrote this plugin 2.5 yrs ago). I fixed the above error over a year ago (v1.3) and never uploaded the change. I'm updating the code to new syntax and will update the OP to v1.4.
