Hey.

I have tried to set up sourcemod for my Insurgency server today... but to no success.
I'm currently runnig the server on a Ubuntu Server 12.04 and used daniel gibbs installation script thingy.

I've extracted the metamod files to "insurgency/serverfiles/insurgency/addons" and changed the metamod.vdf to: "file" "addons/metamod/bin/server"... (also tried the one that you download from the metamod website, no difference).
To clarify a bit on my folders:
Insurgency (here's where the insserver.sh script is + steamcmd) -> Serverfiles (here's the srcds.exe + srcds_linux) -> Insurgency (heres where the addons folder is + cfg folder etc)

Anyone else had problem with this and got it to work? I've installed amxx and sourcemod a thousand times before (although a few years ago) but I've never had any problems like this.

Turned out my user couldn't read some files and folders.
Had to sudo chown ( sudo chown -R username:group directory) the files and folders.

Here's my thread on the steam forums for anyone googling this in the future, running in to the same problem.
