While I haven't had the chance to look into it yet, I have thought about keeping the template system but using Twig instead of Smarty.

If I do decide to change it, the license will also change (probably to GPL)

I tried this and went to amxbans settings and went to design --> there is only 1 choice which is default

OR -->

www\amxbans\templates

i copied the files in the folder black and blue and pasted in templates.

I also tried this and went to amxbans website its still the classic default one.

Its not really bad to re-color the page... It will still be possible if he updates it.
But, we cannot change the layout of it.
You guyz must do something to protect the copyrights (talkin to Yami), so nobody can edit them.

If somebody changes them, what should I do/ What will happen?

Huh? With Open Source programs, there is nothing you can do to prevent people from modifying it
