It's easy to get information from binaries, that is, compiled extensions, there's even a tutorial on the alliedmodders wiki. Just making an extension out of it isn't enough. As UMTeleporter mentioned above, this is not the same. It allows visible, bonemerged items to players. (Hat's, weapons, players, etc.) This once again opens the door to server op's to sell fake hats which valve had originally sought to prevent. This is going to cut profits from Valve's Mann co. item sales.

It does work fully with weapons. You can also change the skeletons of players. Give me a moment to gather a screenshot.

Well in the package the guy released, there is a visibleweapons.sp file.

I'll be honest, I downloaded and saved the files, but not so I could remake Equipment Manager. I tend to save the source code of a lot of plugins as a way for me to look at certain things and see how they work, as I may be able to use similar functions in my own plugins.

I will not be making or releasing any visible weapon/fake hat trickery plugins, but there does appear to be some quite useful functions in these files. Quite a nice resource for an amateur coder like myself.

EDIT: Especially ServerGifts.sp. Right now it's coded to give players a random weapon when they touch the gift, but I could have some fun with this and make it do other things like resize a player. That'd be fun

So we shouldn't worry about them
