• sm_ca_showenhanced <1|0> - shows the enhanced player connect message from this plugin.
• sm_ca_showstandard <1|0> - shows the standard player connect message.

Wouldn't setting both to 0 mean he wouldn't get the standard message or the plugin's additional message, whilst retaining the message he already gets?

Or just edit that plugin to use the suppression and nothing else maybe?

I was hoping that either setting both to 0 or standard to 0 and enhanced to 1 would do the trick. But yeah, no way we can test it for you because we don't have the game/mods/plugins you do, test it yourself!

Install this plugin: Connect Announce

Set the following cvars to 0:

• sm_ca_showenhanced <1|0> - shows the enhanced player connect message from this plugin.
• sm_ca_showstandard <1|0> - shows the standard player connect message.

That will stop the join message you want to block, and won't add any connection message of its own
